I appreciate the offer. What model do you have?

Right now I'm leaning toward an Android Auto compatible double DIN unit with a touch screen. Haven't settled on a brand yet.

Both Alpine head unit CDA 9857 6 disc changer CHA S634 plus a couple of cartridges and connection cord.
I have these in my 76 Corvette and my 04 Dodge Dakota
I make my own CD's since I'm not too fond of what's being played on the radio I have 2 or 3 extras of both

Almost too true!! We show our age by the evolution of audio equipment we've had in our cars!! 45 record players, reverbs on AM, AM/FM, to playlists on phones!

Hotrod46 do you shop Crutchfield? I've found them to be helpful in navigating the market, and they often have amazing deals! https://www.crutchfield.com/S-M6QQYv...d98594db07b8fd

Old yes, my first car had an 8 track with bookshelf speakers in the back seat. I'm going super simple in my truck with a bluetooth streamer and amp. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My first car,a 52 Ford convertible, had a stock AM radio. I had an 8 track in my 57 Chevy and an auto reverse Alpine in a 62 Chevy !/2 ton. I have a old reverb unit in the garage.
When CD's came out I was in hog heaven as I could make my own with Lightscribe.
I'm a child of the mid to late 50's and the 60's when rock and roll was King. Most of my CD"s are of artist of the 50's such as Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Duane Eddy and many others.
BTW, The Everly Brothers were a month or so behind me in Marine Corps bootcamp at MCRD, SD in the fall of 61

Sorry for the Hijack, Hotrod46!! My real reason for the post was to see if you'd checked Crutchfield, not to divert your build thread. My bad....
