What's Going On With The Forum???

Is it just me, or is something strange happening to the forum? After I read the last post, and want to reply, there is sometimes no box saying "post reply". There is only the one that says "quick reply".

It has happened several times tonight, and I have to go back onto the forum and sometimes I get the original format, and sometimes the "quick reply" one.


I haven't even had a beer yet.

Ok, I have had NO Nyquil today, and something is wrong with the format. I can't possibly be the only person having a problem. Now, not only is there no "Post Reply" block above the"quick reply", but some of the pictures in peoples posts are not coming up, and are replaced by a box that says "attached images". Yet, if you scroll down a little, another picture WILL come up.

If my computer were doing this, no pictures would come up. Is anyone else having this problem???

Also, there are no "edit" boxes either, and I just went to another forum, and everything is working fine there.

I haven't posted lately because I kept getting too many emails in my in-box rather than the Earthlink suspect email box where they are supposed to come in to my PC (plus have had a 4 day stomach bug). I thought this email problem was fixed last week !! Sounds like Brent has server problems again.

There have been reports of greatly increased spamming efforts. I have PC-Cillin antivirus support and they are updating sometimes as much as five times in a day so it seems to me that there are many ways to pick up downloads with unwanted stuff in it. All you can do is keep your own PC as clean as possible with antivirus software and hope that Brent can keep the site clean as well. I have been slowed down waiting for a semi-custom column drop, Christmas and assorted other family activities while the garage gets colder, but when I get that column drop it will be back to setting up my steering.

Haven't heard from you lately - maybe it's because I been busy with the same late fall/family activities as well.

I'm using Norton for my antivirus software and it updates often though I seldom know when, but at least every time I go on line. Then Earthlink has several filters that are constantly updating so none or at least very little trash has ever penetrated. My guess is that Brent's software has a glitch that will force me to turn off CHR for a while if it isn't cleared up soon - too bad, I really enjoy "talking" to folks here very much.

Haven't done much on the car - too chilly to paint and the chassis is ready for the body (with my new Denny's HD driveshaft installed) tho I did (over)fill the trans and it has a small leak that I can't find . I hope it's not a crack or pinhole!!!

With regards to email, is everyone getting a bunch of email from the site? What sort of email?

I'll look into the other problem, but not really sure what might be the problem.
