Stolen from Seattle Roadster Show...
Hi All, it's been awhile!
I went to the Seattle Roadster Show last weekend and Patsy Haggerty from NW Classic Auto Mall told me about this beautiful '36 Ford that was stolen
They were enroute to Seattle and the car was in a trailer hooked up to their truck outside the hotel they were staying in. During the night someone stole the whole package! The police found the truck later but no sign of the trailer or the '36 inside. So, I'm posting this on their behalf just in case someone sees or hears something about it.

Made it a sticky at the top of the forum.
Makes me sick to think it is already in a container and headed overseas.

That sucks!! I hope they get lucky and get it back in good shape.
That business of folks having their trucks and trailers swiped from hotel parking lots is getting to be a real problem. It happens all the time here in Las Vegas; the LV Metro PD just busted one bunch that they caught by parking a decoy U-Haul and trailer in one of the strip hotel parking lots - found six or so big storage units stuffed with stolen property. Some of the stuff was peoples whole households; they had stopped for a little excitement in "Vegas, baby!", on their way to where ever, and wound up losing - big time.

Makes you want to hide a bomb in your own car just to get the sob's who do things like this. Might be a terrible waste of time and materials, but a real satisfaction knowing the thief got their just rewards.

That would just break my heart.... You can recover the cost but how do you recover the years it took?
Makes me rethink my show schedule.

Lojak brings up an interesting subject. Have any of you used, or are using one on your rod itself? I know the concept, but how expensive is it, can you install it yourself or do they have to do it? How is coverage, are they everywhere, or just major metropolitan areas? How big is the unit?

I've been looking for an enclosed trailer to tow my '23 in when we travel in the motor home to car shows and other places. I think it would be safer than an open bed trailer. I have an alarm on the motorhome and would also have it for the trailer. I just can't imagin how they felt walking outside and seeing their rig gone. It sure serves as a wake up call for everybody towing or driving our cars just how easy they can disappear in the night.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
