Classic Flics
A lot of us here enjoy relaxing to a good classic movie. I am starting this thread to get your responses on your favorite movies (especially classics). This is not intended to do only classics, but bring out some movies that could become a classic even if it's something like HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTS (my favorite of all time) Bring 'em out! John Wayne, Clint Eastwood,Henry Fonda, James Stewart, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, You get the idea!Last edited by nitrowarrior; 04-18-2007 at 10:45 AM.

I hear the original "Gone in 60 seconds" is supposed to be bada$$. I dont think there were any well known actors in the movie they could not afford it. It was also made with about 3 thousand dollars, lolLast edited by BigTruckDriver; 04-18-2007 at 09:35 AM.

There are a few I like, Godfather, Scarface, etc. But one I just rewatched recently was Heat with DiNero and Pachino. Not only are these guys great in it, but the shootout scene between the cops and bank robbers is the best ever IMO.
Strange thing about it, that real shootout in California between the bank robbers and the cops was very similar to the movie.

If we're talkin good ol cheesy low budget car movies, Death Race 2000 or Duel are always big hits. The Car isn't bad, either although I haven't seen it in years.

For me, it's gotta be "Lonesome Dove" a real classic western With Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones. I watch this classic at least once a year. It was originally a four part TV mini-series and if you can't get enough there are some sequels.

You people are really hitting some good ones I like also. I just had to drop in here for another suggestion. Anybody watch Monty Python flicks? Sometimes British Humor fits the bill for an evening of foolishness.

So Denny, you must have Clan Of The Cave Bear in your collection. It's not what might be called a classic by most but it is good. Besides who can resist Darryl Hanna in the movie.
