If they want to check the car out (from the upper level) on the 15 it's $5.
It will be displayed in the invitational car show area on the 16 and 17th for free.

Being that I am not above "borrowing" things from other forums,I thought some of you might not have seen this video. If you have sorry, if you haven't, enjoy.

Yeah, Boyd and crew are going to detail it to clean off 50 years of sitting.

WEB sites for watching the 57 Plymouth
Spent the day checking out a few things on the car and everything looks good.
I'm leaving ot Tuesday evening and should be in Stroud OK on Wends and Tulsa on Thursday (the day before the unearthing).
I came across these web sites for watching the unearthing (pulling it out of the ground) and unveiling (displaying the car for the first time) in case anybody want's to watch it on their computor.
unearthing 12 noon (CST) 15 June

unveiling 7-9 PM (CST) 15 Jun 07
www.kotv.com
Of course I've got to wonder what happens if they open up the vault and only find a big rusty swimming pool with a beer can floating on topI've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Maybe not good news...
They opened the vault today early in the AM to make sure they will be able to rig it out on Friday and then got the heavy equipment out of the way and have put up a fence so no one can see in... a friend of mine caught some pictures in the meantime:

Suffice to say the vault did not hold. The car is also coated is cosmoline and wrapped in plastic so who knows.
The earth in that area is red, so the stains are probably from that. The fins, hood, and roof certainly held shape. Its hard to say if the trunk is collapsed or not.
