Wow Pat GREAT to see you on here again! When I was looking thru this old thread it hit me that there are several posts from people I miss that are no longer on the board. You definitely being one of them.
“…….there was 2 of them wasn't there?......”
Sort of Mike. They did the 57 underground. In 1998 Tulsa did it again and “buried” a Prowler. It’s to be exhumed in 2048.

“……Could it be that you missed your 20 mpg goal because it's just so damn kewl to hear those dual fours suckin' air when you nail the loud pedal?....”
Dave accelerating just for the sake of accelerating would just be wrong……Now there are certain driving situations where a person would need to accelerate rapidly in order to safely pass a slower vehicle, in those cases it would be perfectly acceptable. That being said I was absolutely amazed how many times such situations arose on this trip.
“….. Very depressing; I really wanted to see a dirty but near perfect 57 Plymouth come out of that hole…….”
Yeah, me too. I wasn’t really surprised though. I made a comment on another forum prior to it being dug up when people were guessing what it would look like. My comment was “Did you ever see a basement that DIDN’T leak? ”
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
