Our Booth
This was our booth at the L.A. Roadster Show. It' supposed to look like a garage. The artist that painted it really did a good job. If you stand in front of it you would swear it was 30 feet deep.

Talk on the street Ken is that you guys build about the best trailer out there. Looking at the ones there, I believe it. Nice stuff. Your booth had to really attract attention too.

But the big question is: did the booth cost generate enough new sales to make it worth the expense? Your booth looks really good and is in tune to your product. The people walking by get a positive impression of who you are and what you are selling....and hopefully will contact you when they need a trailer.
Other booths use bimbos in skimpy clothes to attract attention. While Uncle Bob and I go to SEMA and may accidently look at the booth bimbos, I'll be darned if I can remember the manufacturer or their product afterward!!
I took a show selling seminar once where the instructor stressed getting to the point...."are you interested in a trailer?" would be the first question. If yes, show him the features, if no, tell him goodbye!! (in a polite manner).
Nice work, Ken.

By the way the dealership I work for sells Ken's motorcycle trailer's and I would attest that they are the real deal, BEST IN THE INDUSTRY.

Hotroddaddy - Thanks a lot, that guy really did do a good job on it.
Don - Thanks, we really try. It really does, people look at it and start realizing some of the trailers are just paintings.
Robot - Thanks for your kind words. We had this done about 6 years ago, we use it as our indoor booth. This is the first time we used it outside, I'm glad the weather was good.
Brad - Thanks that's the best compliment when you can't tell whats real.
Techinspector1 - Yes, I opened it in 1991. How this all happened is a funny story it was all by accident. I never built a trailer in my life, but it turned out to be to my advantage. I had no preconceived ideas, it was a clean sheet of paper. just wanted it light weight so you could stand it up and strong, so there is a lot of triangulation in it to keep it rigid.
Bob - Really sorry I missed you.
John - I'm going to tell everyone the truth, that you are really my brother, no one else would say such nice things about me.
Seriously thank you for the nice comments.

BTW Ken, I just picked up the August Street Rodder, and read the article they did on you and your cars. All I can say is WOW !! It was super impressive, and well done. I felt proud that one of us CHR guys were so famous. I had to show my Son and tell him who you were. He said, "Oh, I've seen that truck before, and it is really perfect." I have to agree. Could not happen to a nicer guy.
The only other Celebrity I ever met was Kenny G, and now I know two.

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
