Also, get it straight with the track owner and/or race director that they will back you up in your decisions. If they allow something that you've dis-allowed, it destroys your credibility as a tech guy and you're worthless from that point on. NEVER MAKE A DECISION THAT WON'T BE BACKED UP BY YOUR SUPERIORS.
