    look'n for an empty trailer headed to So Cal

     



    Anybody headed this way and pass'n through New Mexico with an empty trailer?
    Look'n to have a Suburan picked up and brought this way. A friend was on vacation and didn't make it home Not a big rush next 30 to 60 days would be kool

    Yeah they had a great time! They'd been gone for 3 weeks went all the way to New York and this happened 2 days before they were to be home.....
    I tried to rent a truck and trailer to go get it but by the time you pay rent and mileage it was waaaay out of my budget

    Is the suburban running? what about flying or greyhounding it there and driving it back?

    Yeah it runs...... enough to load and unload........ But it broke an oil line on the highway and dumped about 6qt out of 7 by the time he got it stopped so once that it was fixed it had a knock in the bottom end.... not real heavy but a knock just the same
    With out being there myself to hear it I told him not to try to drive it home
    so thats where we are right now. If we don't find anything comming this way We'll have to rent something and go get it....
    To me it's not worth what it cost to go get it but you know how us guys and our old cars are He likes that truck like we do our Hot Rods
