    Still gettin' ink and trophies---

I haven't been posting much lately---My business has been very busy, and I haven't really had much to post about. I have been attending the local rod runs and car shows, and just found out this week that there was another picture of the RPU in a new newspaper in town. My tophy collection is slowly growing, and I am enjoying the summer weather. Hi to all my friends on Clubhotrod---May your projects all soon be finished, and may you all have as much fun with them as I have been having with mine.---Brian

What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

".......Still gettin' ink and trophies--- ......"

Quality builds tend to do that Brian. I remember following your build like I do Don's. ( Even though it seems that Don has said he is not building a show car....I suspect he will end up with a with a similiar display once his is on the road.)

It's amazing what someone with skill and a bit of experience can do with a pile of parts.

    Congrats.
I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I have been venturing a bit farther afield with the RPU this summer. The only problem is "old man syndrome"---thats where I hate to go much farther than 40 miles to an evening show, because its all sunny and warm and beautifull when I leave here right after supper, but then by the time the show is over at 9:00 PM its getting cooler and darker, and not nearly as much fun driving home with no side windows. Jeez---I've turned into an old wuss!!! The car is working really great, and it still gets a lot of attention. I am looking foreward to a couple of weeks holidays with my good wife. ---Nothing that will compare to our magnificent California trip last summer, but at least something that will get me away from the computer for a couple of weeks. Funny, isn't it---this past winter when I had no work I nearly went nuts worrying about it---Now, after an 8 week contract, I don't want any work for a while.---Damn, some people are just never satisfied

    Brian,
I think your collection will grow as long as you want it to. Your pick up is nice!
If you ever go on vacation again this way please let me know.

    Way to go Brian!!!

I too haven't been around much, been twisting brain cells and turning big blocks of metal to a pile of chips.

Glad to see you're enjoying your ride and the nice weather we've been having.
Give me a shout sometime if you'd like.
