    Dave's Night Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys have a great Saturday night! My old pal Lyle is having a party for his 70th birthday tonight!!!! Started hanging out in his garage when I was about 10 or 11 years old...He used to be a circle burner. I was the chief parts washer and floor sweeper and progressed from there. Going to be like a giant reunion tonight, lots of old racers from all over will be showing up....and tomorrow Lyle will be inducted into our local area circle burner Hall of Fame! I know I'm going to have fun... Now if some of the old pit tootsies show up.....well, I can only wish!!!!!

Those tootsies may look better in your memory than reality.......

Good Party!!! Lots of old friends and lots of old racing stories!!! Most everybody brought a picture or two, some of them dating back to the late 50's when Lyle was still racing carts and got me started in them! Had a great time.... and yeah, most all the pit tootsies are old women now!!! Dang, how did that happen?
