That's very clever. Never seen one like it, and very smooth operation. I wonder if the car will move with the doors down? Just like being in a carnival thrill ride with no doors, or in a doorless Hughes 300 copter.

Okay, so the little old blue haired lady goes to wallyworld to do her 9 dollar shopping that takes an hour in the check out line. Meanwhile nobody disclosed to her that the catalytic converter will torch her doors and the rest of the car. Makes ya wonder if they took the precautions to prevent such a thing............personally I like watching firemen show up, it makes ya wanna stare like the rest of the on-lookers

Pretty cool; but $19,000 for a car you can normally get for $1500 just because of trick doors? Maybe if I had a lot more money.....

This might be very dangerous if you were having an argument with your wife & she was driving. The little lady could activate your door in a high speed turn and REMOVE YOU thereby collecting your insurance policy. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

It's actually worse than that. $19,000 is the current bid, Reserve has not been met. Which means the real asking price is a lot more. Think I'll pass.

I think it is cool. Not my thing, but cool nonetheless, considering the speed it opens too. much more practical than gull wing designs. interior panel looks like crap.

If the company did this they should have then taken and done it to Hondas/toyotas etc. then they would have a huge market of guys that wanted it done.

Neat!!! I can see where it could have an application for handicapped driver's, too! Especially those who are wheelchair bound!

Combine that with seats that rotate 90 degrees and you have a winner for the emerging baby boomers.
