Hey, at least you're out there running something instead of just sitting around talking about it! How's the Monte coming along???

Were you driving it?.... or pushing it?

I agree with Dave, at least you were out and about, instead of just dreaming about it.

Sometimes you do what you gotta do. In about 1970 my Mustang wasn't finished yet, and I wanted to go racing, so I took my 1970 Dodge station wagon company car to the strip. It was a 318 ( ). I pulled the hubcaps and turned up the torsion bars in the front. Turned something like 17 seconds in the quarter.

Next Monday AM the boss pull me into the office and I almost got fired for using my company car to race. Someone actually saw me and called him. Of course, I denied it, and they had no way to prove it, so I got off with a warning.

Never did that little trick again.

Glad you got to beat on it a bit... putting the pedal to the floor is fun in any car... it'll just be that much sweeter when the new motor is done
