    1960 tow truck

Picked up a 60' model, frog eye hood Chevy Apache w/wet clutch and 4 speed then I traded for an old steel flat bed frame now I'm needing some help finding a better picture of a funny little tow rig I'd like to build for the whole ugly set up. If you have links or pictures or other ideas I'd sure appreciate it .
    thanks for reading

Check out "Mater" in cars. His hoist is a surprisingly accurate account of a
60s style hoist. With stop motion you can see it from various angles.

    Thumbs up

I hope people see it and say " there is no way they use that to tow... it looks to nice " .

I'm thinking black with stainless bolts and washers and a big chrome hook , my dad wants to build the entire thing out of stainless and polish it not sure yet . Even thought about making it out of aluminum ,it's not really going to be used , I don't think. That's half the reason I want the hand crank so when the relatives ask me to move their junk I can say " you crank ... I'll drive"

But a big ol'TULSA winch would be cool hidden down between the frame rails.

Now if I just had the GumShiN to make it into a crew cab with an EXTRA short bed before I put the wrecker boom on it .... Tha'D B cool !

    thanks for the help guys
thought maybe there was somthing I wasn't thinking of.
