    Vacation stuff

It's not really Hot Rod stuff, but still sorta' cool. We took a trip to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge TN last week & made a quick pass over the place.
If you look close at the second to last segment you can see a plane pullin' an advertising banner across the sky. Then right after that there is a lightning strike. I doubt that will show up tho, I can't see it on the puter' screen, but I can see it on the big screen in the living room. They made one short run after ours & then shut down because of the approaching storm. It was cool to watch it roll in from the sky.

Oh, BTW: I got to ride shotgun. Got the headphones on, listenin' to air traffic talk, talkin' to the pilot, it was very, very cool.

Vacation: Drains the pocketbook & backs up the work schedule. Other than that it was O.K.

See, I better stop my complainin'. The whirly bird deal was better than a hospital bed.

I've heard of this "vacation" you guys speak of, but I thought it was only a myth. Like Bigfoot, or a Ford that doesn't break down.

I don't take vacations anymore. Too many have turned out to be "the vacation from Hell", that I now just kind of take a short r & r or go for a several day cruise. Besides when I retire I will get paid for all of my accumulated unused vacation days.
