Is anyone heading to Reno for Hot August Nights?

Yep will be there from Wednesday through Sunday.Looks like it will be hot.

I see you live in Truckee, Ca. I'll be staying in Truckee with my brother in law. I'm not bringing my car its too hot in Reno to cruse with out AC, maybe next year I'll have it installed for 2008. Is that your Green Jeep ?

I will also be there from Wed-Fri.We are staying and the Grand Sierra.

Yep thats my Jeep.We will also be staying at the Grand Sierra,this is our little treat.Can actually have a few cocktails and not have to worry about driving home.It's not the most personable show but I do like going to the Auction and the swap meet.

I will be there Tue Aft-Sat morning. Staying at the Quality Inn at S. Virginia and Plumb. Several of us LSx Conversion guys are going to meet about lunch time at the A&W on Thursday. Come join us if you get a chance. Otherwise look for the very red '53 Studebaker with STU COOL CA plates. I plan to head to the Show & Shine in Sparks on either Wednesday or Thursday after the A&W. Also the Swap meet on Fri. We go all over town so be sure to say hi and introduce if you see us. Long range weather looks decent, high 80s low 90s, if you believe Accuweather a week ahead.

Jim,I hate to say this but I wont have my ride.Its still apart as I repowered it this year.Its almost done but all the little crap still need to be buttoned up.

Thanks,Been alot of work.Shaved the firewall and repinted it.

There are some people who just go for the first few days before the crazy crowds get there. I'll be coming by Truckee on Tuesday, probably late morning or early afternoon.

I just returned, Pat I saw you car at Peppermill on Friday but I did not see you around, probably looking at all the cool cars. Blow By, I saw you on open cruise night in Sparks Victorian Square but did not get the Camera out quick enough to get a picture. I should have brought my car , the weather was great up till Friday, I wish I could have stayed till Sunday but it is a long drive back to So Cal. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

Sorry I missed you, we were either looking at cars or inside at the Fireside Lounge, that's our favorite watering hole in Reno. We did not stay in one place for very long all week. BlowBy/Roger it was great to meet and chat with you. Your Truck just blew me away! I will post some pictures I took for everyone to see. Man it is just spectacular!
