    Bob,
For whatever reason. the military used Chrysler engines in a bunch of their stationary equipment. We had several pieces of equipment when I was in the Air Guard - but most was the 413CID variety. I don't recall that my years of army days as a combat engineer motor sergeant that we had anything but GMC or Continentals tho (except a few Jeeps and 3/4 tons).

The hemi powered siren must have been a bit "overpowering"

Me thinks that would be the ideal setup to drop in the back of any pick-up truck. Tailgaters might just get the hint

Nice - that motor sounded good - almost like an old airplane sputtering on startup.

Thanks Bob. Those hemis are hard to kill. Sounded great for sitting 15 years.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
