Unfortunately soccer is the one thing i abhor...
You should be able to get tickets from one of the football stadiums or soccer team websites, maybe try one of the local information bureaus when you get to london, they should be able to give you info on getting tickets.
As for Car museums, there's a bunch of car museums scattered over the country...There are dragstrips located at Santa Pod (Buckinghamshire)
and Shakespeare county raceway (stratford upon avon) There's racing of some sort on every weekend, it usually alternates between Rods, bikes and the ricer brigade..If you give me ideas of which weekends you will be here for i can give you a list of shows and locations..Although be aware that the weather in the UK has been CRAPPY for most of the summer, major flooding etc, so the drags could be a washout...
Is it just you or a few people coming over?? i.e kids etc too?
cuz i can give ya bunch of cool stuff to do with kidz etc too...8TH ANNUAL RATFINK PARTY & KUSTOM KULTURE EXTRAVAGANZA - 21TH JULY LOS ANGELES COUNTY RACEWAY, PALMDALE CA.

i had to look up "abhor" just to be sure. swing and a miss.
thie thing with tickets is that you have to be some sort of team fan club memeber to get tickets at a decent cost. after that, it's online scalpers who want to charge 5-10 times face value...plus the issue of a whole nother type of currency.
its going to be me and a couple other guys (20's). we'll be there sept 14-17. the soccer game was the only thing we all wanted to see for sure, after that, we're open to ideas.Andy

I'll see if there's anyone i know who can get tickets, or maybe let you use their season tickets,... i know that you can buy tickets at the football grounds on match day, but if its a cup or international game its pre-booked tickets only...
I'll give my buddy a buzz now and let ya know his suggestions...8TH ANNUAL RATFINK PARTY & KUSTOM KULTURE EXTRAVAGANZA - 21TH JULY LOS ANGELES COUNTY RACEWAY, PALMDALE CA.

Ok, so here's the skinny..
unfortunately I cant get ya tickets, but i have been informed that whilst you're here you can buy tickets on a match day(usually saturday, kickoff between 13.00 & 15.00hrs)..approx cost is £20-35,for premiership or first division games..You should be able to get a list of football fixtures for the days you are in the UK..Most probably, the London area teams (West Ham/Tottenham hotspurs/Arsenal) will have a game at their home grounds, but the fixtures list will say if it is a home or an away game.....
Or alternatively, there are a magnitude of clubs in the lower divisions 2,3 that again will have games over those days, and accordingly the entry costs should be significantly lower...prolly between £10-20..
hope this is a help..8TH ANNUAL RATFINK PARTY & KUSTOM KULTURE EXTRAVAGANZA - 21TH JULY LOS ANGELES COUNTY RACEWAY, PALMDALE CA.
