This is for both the cars and the parts area's all over the net not just here,BUT it DOES fit here as well. No pics, no price, no phone number - WTF! they are either pc'sOS or your embarrassed about their condition or your greed. CUMMON! post a damn pic and a PRICE + STOP playin us slick or for stupid maybe you are just lonely and want attention? If its high buck ya get rid of the tire kickers If its a PC Of S---, no one will buy it anyway.
I expect this will get zapped, but thats OK. I got it out of MY systemLast edited by Dgas56; 08-13-2007 at 04:45 PM.

Sooooooooo, how do you REALLY feel about it????
I have to agree, how many times have we seen an ad, and then someone will have to say "how much are you asking, etc." An ad should tell a perspective buyer almost everything he needs to know about the car.....make, model, condition, running or not, price, etc.

There's a guy in the parts area, you know who, has listed a very desirable car then after a number of requests for price, pics or contact info.He has the balls to be a smart a--,another who had a car for sale responded w a "all you want to do is collect pictures" OOOH, be still my beating heart on a 60's FOUR DOOR SEDAN! Thats it, I blew ,I've had enough of these jokers .I will never ask again, just pass as you said.
I really feel that a No pic, No price = NO AD rule needs to go into effect all over the net.
alright enough whining (yes, I admit it )
YES I know there's a lot of US old farts who CLAIM they cannot resize a pic w a simple photo program most computers and all browsers have ,FINE, send ME the damn pics and I'LL post them. took me 5 minutes and I QUIT school in the 10th GRADE well over 30 years agoLast edited by Dgas56; 08-13-2007 at 05:56 PM.

What's the big deal??? If the guy trying to sell actually knows anything about selling a part or a car, and is serious about getting it sold and not just testing the waters, he'll provide the info. If not, guess he'll miss a lot of sales.... IMO just a lot easier to ignore the ad then make an issue out of it. I'm certainly not going to beg somebody for info on what they have to sell.
Then there's people like me who put an ad up just trolling....seeing if anyone wants to make a decent offer or have something kewl to trade. There are so few things bought and sold off this site between members, it's really a non-issue.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I agree, I have not seen alot of movement on anything and it may be because people quit looking and having to ask. I don't understand that if they are smart enough to get to this site and post on it, then they can figure out a digital camera and figure out how to post the pic."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Well, IMO this is any information exchange type of sight far more then a buy and sell site. When I wanna buy I go to eBay or any one of a bunch of sites I regularly frequent. Seems by the time something comes on here for sale, it's mostly somebody's leftovers..... A big and well organized buy and sell site would probably be a turnoff for advertisers, too. Can't really see someone paying $$$$ every month to sell parts on the site if they have to compete against members posting free ads!!!!! A lot of us on here buy and sell parts all day long, it would be very unfair (and against site policy) if I or others were to start posting a lot of freebie ads..... I guess to me it's a simple case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.. Some sites give you the 3rd degree every ad you post to make sure you're not trying to conduct business through site ads......IMO we don't need that here. Bill has enough stuff to keep track of without having to be an ad cop!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

You're right, I don't have a clue what you guys are talking about.... but I certainly hope it doesn't lead to a bunch of silly rules like so many other sites have when it comes time to just say hey, I got this stuff for sale, lemme know if you're interested.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Now THAT I'd like to see just to laugh my ass off at it. Actually, a lot does get sold here , not many cars to be sure, but lots of parts. I'm not looking for any silly rules. A side pic and a price at least , fishing for "whats it worth" can easily be asked up front instead of just letting it hang ,BUT even so. A pic AND contact info should be be a minimum + mandatory particularly if they do not participate here regularly. You know dang well the shoppers are going to ask, It would only save the seller time.Last edited by Dgas56; 08-13-2007 at 08:29 PM.
