If you look at almost every vehichle law in cali,.it applies to 1975 and newer cars,then goes back to the 1964-65 federal safety laws for a seat belt,windshield wipers ,reverse lights etc.
Almost everything prior to that is wide open ......
I cant even imagine how much nice old iron is hid out here,from what I see on the road,hear about in garages and see at the shows ,its staggering.
I have talked to people that have moved here just for the health of their cars
I would venture to say that if everyone that had old iron and newer exotics moved out of cali ,it would severly impact the state,if not monetarily,from a lack of available skilled labor.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
And then a newer model....
