Well, guys, next to last night Home before

Surgery. I am trying to stay up all night or at least most of it so I can go to sleep early Thursday and get up a 3 AM to be at the hospital at 6:30 Am Friday for my surgery. Bye bye right kidney. Wish me luck. I'll be gone from home and the Forums for at least 3 days and maybe even 5 days. It all depends on how fast I heal.

I do know that when they took out my larynix in 94 they kicked my butt out after 10 days even though they had said I'd be in there 15 days originally. Hehehe.

We'll see. Course I'm 13 and a half years older now.

Yeah, Denny, know what you mean. Although there was one real cutie last March that I wanted to bundle up and take home.

I really thought I'd made a big hit with her, until she finally told me I was her favorite patient because I reminded her of her GRANDPA!!! Talk about a big kick in the ego.

Well, that's better than if you'd reminded her of GRANDMA!!!!

Keep positive thoughts and do your best. Recovery will be just fine. Hurry back.

been there, done that, except I lost my right kidney back in 1966. not very pretty back then but yours will be a cake walk compared to mine. I was in the hospital for 3 months & was confined to a bed for the most part. Hell I even had to learn to walk again.

Duane you'll be just fine, but by all means let those candy stripers do their jobs....lol...joe

Duane, Hope you get some of the soft, cuddly and pretty ones. No one really needs to wake up in a hospital bed with some old mean looking ex-marine nurse whose husband left her 30 years ago for a younger nurse. Especially if you happen to remind her of him.

Prayers for you and hope to have you up and about and back on the keyboard in record time. Best wishes.
