I haven't been around for a while because I've been playing with equipment very similar to the one shown.
I've been programing and running a Haas 5 axis at school.
Really awesome considering I cut my teeth on old Bridgeports my father had at his shop.
We've been doing some testing on ISCAR cutting tools lately running them at 1400 ipm, on AIR!Last edited by Supa Roosta; 08-30-2007 at 11:39 PM.

I've got a Cincinnati 5-axis palatized CNC mill at work. You can leave it running all weekened and it loads itself and changes out tools as they wear. It costs around $1 mil to get one for yourself.Last edited by 76GMC1500; 08-31-2007 at 12:23 AM.

that is cool ... thats has got my old J head bridgeport beat to hell .. i was looking at a smaller machine rottler sell s it will bore deck and line bore a block and mill the hole block for weight so did Rmc but it not 5 axis and the base machine was over 60.000 with not any tooling .it did not take long to get that out of my head .i was at a PRI show and they were porting a head with a hass machine that was over 15 years ago that was cool now it just a every day thing.Irish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
