    waited 23 years

my uncle in 1977 bought a new corvette. my cousin just about to get his lisense was real excited. he hoped someday he could get a crack at it, and someday have the car passed down to him. shortly afterward my aunt, his mother passed away from cancer. his father remarried a couple years after that, and he got ill and sold the car to a friend and told him if he ever got rid of the car look up his son first and offer him the car. my uncle soon after passed away also. so 23 years later, just last week. my cousin gets a call from a man telling him the story about how he promised he would look him up and offer him the vette first. well my cousin 30 years later bought his dads original vette, 49,988 miles on the clock. it is absolutly bone stock just like it came from the factory. my cousin is totally excited, but knows nothing about cars whatsoever, he will learn now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya gotta love a car with a family history. Pretty little vette there. Hope he keeps it in the family forever now that it is back.

Cars with good stories are cool!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
