Ya' I'm going with the f-2 blow through carb. I think my car is going to end up in the 2800 lbs. or so range. My chassis is 7.50 cert. mild steel. Mild steel chassis sorta' puts a cap on what I can do. {That might be a good thing}."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

2800# with the engine thats in steve's wagon would run low 7s all day long...steve drove the 4000# wagon on the power thing for hotrod and ran 8.0 at the first two tracks before braking a hyd roller lifter. i think he learned not to run hyd roller stuff.

I'm not gonna' make any early predictions about the "Z". I know there's more to getting down the track than throwing parts together. For now I'll just say I'm LQQKin' forward to the ride."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

pro z, just a little fyi. i was at wheel to wheel today, they do alot of big power turbos and prochargers cars. they had a ls 1 base small block on the chassis dyno 1543hp at the rear wheels and it's going to be street driven!! i'm sure detuned alittle but very cool ride. as for your post of mild or c/m tubing. when i worked for one of the nascar teams nascar spent over 6million in testing the two. there findings??? all nascars are mild steel if that tells you anything. all my cars were mild steel i wouldn't trust my life with c/m tubing.. there's a big thing going on with nhra about this issue. i'm sure when they see all the data and pull there heads out of there butts they will come around..

500caddy, could you tell me what trans & rear gear you are running?
I was planning on a Rossler TH210 but the more discussions I get into the more I am split between the 400 & a glide. Sounds like a glide would be more consistent but there are guys managing the low 400 first gear with good results also."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
