Ah, I WOULDN'T tell THAT dog he couldn't have any either.
My ex-GF has a Shitsu who is a cool little dog. He eats everything, from fruit to vegetables. You could hand him a piece of watermellon or orange and he would eat it like it was a steak. Even liked onions til we read they are no good for dogs and stopped giving him those for a handout.

We used to have a cat that liked corn on the cob, but only if it was buttered and with salt and pepper, otherwise she would just stare at it. We used to put the corn on a plate and she would sit on a chair, put her paws on the edge of the table and eat the corn off of the cob. Never had a cat or a dog do that before or since. She's long gone, got herself killed in our driveway by one of our neighbor's drunken kids. Guess she was use to the car, and didn't move fast enough. Too bad, she was a nice cat, and always ready for an ear of buttered corn.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

We've had a few dogs that would eat corn off the cob that way; and a couple that ate the cobs, too.

Two to one if he starts talking it will be German, smart dog.We had an adopted cat our daughter left us before going off to California to be a star. The cat would eat with his paws.He would dampen his paw in the water bowl and reach for the food and it would stick to his paw, then he would proceed to eat (dry food) it.I tried to video it but was never lucky enough to capture it on film.Don D
