I just hope you don't get to much traction.
With the extra torque of the BBC you may just tear the rear end right out.

I broke the rear end out of a 85 Monte I had.
    It was just a 383 with 400 hp and a 125 shot of N20.
I was launching it at 3,500 rpm's without the bottle.
It just about shoved the spyder gears out the back cover.
It was a long walk home.

i had this sound that no one could not tell me what the hell it was. this was when i was a kid sounded like the fly wheel that was crack.i had a 396 bbc in the gto so one day i put it to the floor till it was gone? NO.. big bang.. busted the rear end half busted some of teeth off the pinion and many off the ring and crack the case from the cover to the front seal and busted up the limit slip all to hell some of the spider teeth fell in to the ring and pinion but i did make it home going about 3 miles a hour you could get out a walk faster

i did one that was better then the rear end .i did .it just came to me i had a 55 chevy rear end in the chevy hand my 454 in the 50 was out at 3 am and was thinking OR NOT. i was going to smoke the hell out of the tires .i sat out there on the road it must of been some time could not see any thing out the back of the car but a wall of smoke with the tires just smoking the hell out of them and let off the brake to hold it there then i nail it to the floor put it way WAY over the 6800 rpms AND then SHE Hook and then snap the drive shaft off i coasted it but the drive shaft was banging on the ground so i was not thinking.. i stuff the drive shaft over the EX that was now bent down BUT burn the hell out of my arm so was to pushing it and now coolet was pouring out of the front of the car but still was pushing the car like hell thinking the cops sure the hell are coming to get me .. got it all most got it home about two blocks had to call for a tow. and for the burn out that would match john force any day cost me ? one rear end . one drive shaft. one rebuild 400 trans .one stall. one radiator .and one fan . and a big burn on my forearm

Many years ago my nephew did a burn out with his Charger and broke the rear U-joint....He called me to come tow the car home for him (at 3AM). Figured he better get it out of there before somebody showed up and saw the tracks ON THE SIDEWALK!!!!!!!
