Way kewl!!!! Think I'll put a copy of that in the shop and show it next time somebody tells me my rates are too high and they can do it themselves for a lot less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS, the good news is I doubt the heat from welding warped the housing!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I took the original post as a fun thing not a real attack on you pat. I wish my welds were better. Rick keeps assuring me that they'er ok, I still think I'll have him do the test driving though seriously, I was welding up some holes in a bracket we're modifying last night, was using the big welder for the real stuff then thought I'd fill with the little wire feed since it is setup with .25 wire. Yeah, forgot to turn the gas on. couldn't figure at first why my weld sucked all of a sudden. :0

OK,,,I don't get it??? Have always respected Pat's posts and his vast experience.SOMETIMES,,,,internet posting makes us feel like 'old buddies' and we may get 'casual' in our remarks and say things that we assume the other person understands our thinking/reasoning and we over assume.Thats internet posting for you.
That wasn't Pat getting out of that car after doing the welding then,,,maybe it was presuming a jokeing that would come across as an innocent friendly jestering??? I don't know,,,,but I think we have all done similiar,to some degree,,,since learning to do computer website posting after remarking/commenting with buddies in a garage/shop setting.
Maybe?
And by the way,,,,that video shows a mishap that could happen for many reasons, even with 'perfect' welds with a 4-link or homemade suspension components ,everyone knows that."On a r-e-e-e-e-al,,,,qu-i-i-i-i-i-et night,,,,,,,,(whisper),,,,,,,, you can hear a Ford rust!!!"

How long can we beat a dead horse????????????? Caddy poked some fun, I saw it for just what it was. I'm sorry it didn't turn out like Caddy wanted. He apologised and I think he and Pat will smooth it out. NOW, leave it be. I've already sent the video to many friends and I did not forward anything about the joking part. C'mon guys, let's learn from humor and good hearted fun. And sometimes be a bit more tactful, but not beat the dead horse more than you need to.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?
Merry Christmas ya'll
