Some people are computer ilitterate. I know a guy who still has his 55 sitting in the front yard collecting weeds. He wouldn't sell it, yet he lets the earth consume it each year. If the right person at the right time offered him a wad of cash, he'd sell it, just not today.

Twitch, Sorry to be confusing. I did not sell the 57. I bought it early last year for $12,500. I then got it running, like I described. It's a good car, and could be made really nice - if I spend considerable cash and do a frame off. My point is that with the original $12,500 investment, and another $20,000 or so to get it really nice, I could maybe get $35,000. But according to you - much more! I like your thinking!!

Here's our barn find, really, it was in a barn! A '36 Ford 5 window coupe that hasn't been on the road since the late 60's. Solid and complete.

As best I can tell this has been stored inside since 1958. I just bought it & had it delivered from Kansas/Nebraska bourder.
Car needs NO rustrepairs, patch panels or panel replacement. Even the tool boxes in the lower section of the trunk have factory paint. Car has not been goobered with except 4" dropped axle & spring.

    My plans include:
    MII front suspension
    2 carb intake
    REDS headers
    S10 T5 / 5 speed trans
    open drive
18 & 20" hoops with moon style almn. disc covers
updated interior - '92-4 lexus 2 door fits - I've seen it in a few others
    Super low front & rear
