one truck I wish I never sold.
This is the one truck that I really loved and the bucket seats in black and those pipes singing to you really made it. It was the 78 year model with only a few over 2,000 sold, and at the time was the fastest vehicle in the 1/4.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

I got out of High school in 89 and I had a 66 short bed stepside chevy. Wish I did not sell it eaither! Pulled the engine and sold the body. I was trying to be mature by getting somthing more dependable. After selling it The repo man across the street from me had two cars that had been wrecked. A 87 grand national and an 89 dodge colt wagon. I got the dodge colt.................looking back, how stupiod was that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, the grand national just needed a front nose with headlights one fender and maybe a hood, could have got it for $3,800. Paid $1,500 for the dodge though.Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

37 The Lil Red Express Trucks seem to be abundent in the market at reasonable prices.
I've been following the prices for about a year now (since I picked up my 76 True Spirit) . Nice low mileage originals seem to go in the 15-18K range and higher mileage one's (usually needing a bit of TLC) can go in the 5-10K range.
There are usually about half a dozen on E Bay at any given time. The nice thing if you pick up a builder is that EVERYTHING is available either NOS or reproduction.
I don't really think you'll see a real sharp increases on these in the near term but I doubt you would loose money on one either.
Might be a good time to look at picking up another oneI've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Mike Most what I've seen are the 79's which had dual head lights and smog equipment on the engine. There were over 5,000 79'2 made compared to little over 2,000 78's. Most 78's that I've seen come up for sale are either junk or they want to much money for them. I'll find one some day and empty out my bank account again.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
Merry Christmas ya'll
