I'd like to Dyno ours and find out just what it has, but I can't track down a dyno in town. we are going to have it out of the truck when we do the cleanup and paint on the frame and it would be a perfect time. I typed in the cam specs into a calculator and got just over 400 with about 325 at the rear wheels. but I don't know if any head work (looks like there is at least some on the exhaust side) or what else was done to it.

Pat whats wrong with the 283s in the 60s we got better performance with them than the 327s. I know i haven,t had a rod since the 70s but i still like the old stuff.I just wonder what happened to GOVERNMENT of the people by the people for the people?

Better off with a TH400... what car is it going in? If the car is light a beefed up 350 might handle the job.
