    Those are some pretty sky pics, Hoss.

    Hey Brian! Maybe it's time you became a "snowbird". Pack up the "Boss" and hie yourselves to Las Vegas for another visit. I guarantee you won't cook your brains this time. Been running mid seventies to eighties daytimes, high fifties to low sixties at night.

    Snow there already? It's in the 60's here in NC. Sometimes 50s and 30's at night. Brian, all I have to say is that poor RPU can't be cooped up in the garage all winter, I am going to come pick it up and bring it to my house so it can unleash itself and stay nice and warm here... All I ask is you leave the gas tank on Full for me please and I wont charge you interest. :P

    Brian, don't let us weather braggarts bring you down cuz you got some white stuff sittin' on the ground.

    You'll be spinnin' down the highway in 85 degree July roadster weather and we'll be whining about the 108 degree temps here in the Dez....

    Nostalgia Drags at Speedworld Dragstrip this coming Sunday.

    Speedworld is about 30-40 miles north of Phoenix near Surprise, Arizona.

    NHRA rules cars not required.
    Just some reasonableness and what looks to be a well-built car + safety helmet for open cars.

    They will be running 1/8 mile drags and I understand they have timing lights set up for both 1/8 and 1/4 mile times.

    I believe the entry fee for the car and driver is $15.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A quote from the promoter.
    "Arizona and Southwest Hambers get your Rods and Betties ready for Sunday Nov. 18th, we are gonna have us a great time. Drag racing and free car show with the $15 spectator entry fee doesn't get any better. We're having 1/8 mile stop light drags and 1/4 mile racing. Gates open at 8:00 am- Time trials at 9:00am and Eliminations at 1:00pm. Speedworld is located on Happy Valley Rd off Grand Ave/Hwy 60, 7.5 miles North of Bell Rd in Surprise.
    C9---not to worry. I hate the damn snow and cold, but I don't have to contend with tornados, typhoons, tsunamis, wildfires, earthquakes, nor drought.
    We just call that wind down here...
    It snows here 1-3 times per winter, 1" - 2", but usually melts off by afternoon.
    I've always wondered about a town in AZ named SNOWFLAKE (and their smelly paper making plant) just down the road from SHOW LOW( )
