Hey Brian....keep that damn white stuff up there on your side of the lake! I'm not ready for this yet.
We didn't get any accumulation here in Rochester, but they got close to 8 inches in the southern tier of NY. Our long term forecast is now predicting temps in the 60's F next week. Good ol' northern weather! YUCK!

Hey FLH4speed....it's funny that you responded to Brian's post the way you did. People used to always ask me where I planned on moving when I was ready to retire. I used to say, I have a plan. I'm going to attach a snow shovel on the hood of my car and keep driving South. The first person who asked, "What the hell is that on the front of your car?" That's where I'll stay! (LOL)

I hate to say it out loud, but we could really use some of that.
This fall has been nice, low 80's yesterday.
Makes up for the two day's of fall we got last year.
Supposed to remain dry here till February . . . so say's the long range forecast.
Lake Mead - and the other big desert lakes - and the river are the lowest they've been in years and maybe as low as it's ever been.
Note the high and low water marks at Hoover Dam (east of Las Vegas) in the pic taken last Saturday.
Here's another coming down the hill in the 32.
The white spots are sailboats.
And Eldorado Dry Lake next to Hwy 95 S/E of Las Vegas.
I went out there to meet some Las Vegas hot rodders who were going to make some easy runs in a dry lakes car.
Didn't find em, but they found what I did . . . namely the lake is so rough that nobody's gonna get a lakes car much over idle in low gear.
Our dry lake is doing much better.
It get's a little more rain than the Las Vegas area does.

Send some this way Brian!!!! There's a brand spankin' new 1000cc Yamaha 4 stroke sled I'm just waiting to try out!!!!! 90 on snow is a trip!!!!! We don't let a bit of the old white stuff stop the hot rodding around here, just put away the wheels and get out the sleds.... Friend of mine is just finishing up his new toy for the winter, complete with trubo and nitrous on a 700 cc 3 cylinder!!!! A foot of snow in the field right across from the store would be just perfect right now!!!!! Then after 1 test ride I'll be ready to put the snow shovel on the hood and be a participant in the experiment Pat suggested!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

As usual I want the best of both!!! Hopefully we'll get some significant snow early this year so I can get in my sled ride, then get down South before the temperatures drop too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Their calling for snow showers here in southern central PA on Friday. Erie got a few inches yesterday (lake affect snow), so I guess it won't be long. But I can wait, my electric bill still looks like September's because of no need for A/C or heat, so that makes me happy. Plus I still have the grass deck on the tractor and the snowplow and snow blowers are still in storage.
So enjoy it Brian, but don't send it south.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
