Our son is home from Iraq
After 7 months in Iraq Joe & his gang of buddies arrived back in Camp Leguene the afternoon of Nov 1st. A friend of Joe's who went w/me helped me take some pics when they all arrived. I will try & post them is a few days. Plus I have asked Joe & one of his friends for their pictures also. Had a great time the 10days I stayed before we came home. I even partied w/the guys. My God was that a mistake the next day . It had to of been decades since I partied like that && I really don't remember must of the next day. It took 2 days before we all completely recoup, Don't ask PLEASE!!!!!!
Joe bought a 04 Dodge Rumble Bee w/a Hemi in it before we left & Ill have to say it is one nice truck & very quick on the throttle response.
Along w/2 friends of Joe's we left to come home on the 6th & drove straight from Camp Leguene to St Louis non stop, took about 16-17hrs. I truly still feel like road kill .
Sure feels glad to have them back home again even if he's not truly in or at the house. First time in a long time that the tears running down mine & my wife faces were happy tears.
What a great group of guys to have met & to be able to call them "Friends". One of Joe's friends is staying w/us now untill he heads up to Chicago to visit his family & will be back w/another member of their group before they all go back to camp after leave. The house is now back to "Normal" .
Thank you to everyone for all the kind words, the prayers & everything else you may have done for not only my son but the other service personal also....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
