My pop said when he was a kid there was an old man who's job was to add the lead to paint. The old guy would always have a pocket full of hard candy & when kids would see him he'd always hand out candy w/his lead dust coated hands . Now mind you my pop didn't live very long, but I think at times I'd like to live to his age when he passed away which was 91. Just imagine how long he could of lived if he hadn't ate that candy w/lead dust on it I don't know but maybe lead could be good for you . .....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE
Two possibilities exist:
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

I recently had a year-and-half stint at a lead-acid battery production facility. My blood lead was checked before hire, and monitored at three month intervals. Had my lead level rose above 20, I would have been monitored monthly.
At hire my blood-lead was slightly under 3. This is an impressive number, made more so by the fact that I often solder ( and used to hold the solder in my mouth ! ) In the time I was there, my blood-lead rose to a ten, and came back down to a seven. Intrestingly enough, I got a 'reward' for lowering my number, but no reward for keeping it low. Anyway, the average for my section ( maintenance ) was 20.
Twenty years ago, the average person in America had a blood-lead of 20. Today the average person has a blood lead of about 4. The main reduction is due to unleaded fuel..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
