Nose cone pinup art
One of my favorite things is the old pinup art on the front of old planes. I'd like to incorperate a design on my truck when finished, something small and tastefull. If you have any pics please share. My friends and I love to go to old airplane museums and air shows. Here is a poor quality shot(no flash) I took a couple of years ago, in a dark museum in Ohio. Love my new digital to avoid shots looking like this!

If you go to Google, type in a phrase like "bomber nose art", click on "go", then when that comes up, you will find sites that showcase nose art, then...
...click on "images" (at the top left of the page)....you will get dozens of examples. My first attempt showed 66,000 images....but not all will be pinup pictures. :-(Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 01-24-2008 at 12:14 PM.

take a look in my gallery at the rendering I did a few months back of what we would like to approximate our outcome on the truck as. we want to do pinups on the doors. I did a paste of one I found for the example but have my own idea for what I want.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
