This has happened so often recently, and has touched our hot rod community directly. First was young Myron who was killed when a speeding car rearended his hot rod and killed him. Then just a week or so ago AHotrod lost his Son Cody in another traffic accident.........and now this tragedy.
I remember my Grandfather crying when my Dad passed, and he was saying it wasn't right, kids are not supposed to died before their Parents. He was right, and yet so many Moms and Dads have to face this horrible event. My heart bleeds for them and I can only begin to imagine their pain. With so many young men and women dying on our roads in in faraway places like Iraq, there are too many families having this happen in their lives.
Makes you realize how fragile life is, and that you should take every opportunity to hug your kids, regardless of how old they are, and tell them how much you love them. You never know.........................
