I DO have a problem with people who want to continue to converse in their native tongue and not learn English, who take all the Government handouts they can get, have no intentions of becoming a legal citizen, and fill up our courts and jails because of their unwillingness to not break laws.

I know this is a generalization, and for that I apologize. But something has got to be done about all the people coming here with no intentions of doing it the right way.

I agree 100 % with your first post on this thread but the second, well.....People converse in there native tongue. So Italians ,Asians,Russians, etc.,etc.,etc. speak English 100% of the time? Then you talk about taking all the hand outs they can get. I could be wrong but I remember a few years ago hearing that Caucasians were the ones using up the majority of welfare. I am also sure you were not talking just about Mexicans , you were talking about EVERYONE thats here illegally. I am sure the others are glad to know the attention is on the Mexicans only,You know like Russians,Asians, etc, etc, etc,. Theres a lot of people here illegally that are not Mexican if you can believe that......... Thats my problem , you people single out the Mexicans to the point where I would call it RACISM, there are PLENTY others screwing the system!

Saying that ,I will now say, Yes get track of everyone! Send them back to where ever they came from! Not just MEXICANS!

Yeah, I agree with some of that. My Grandfather came over on the boat from Czechoslovakia at the end of the 1800's. He and my Dad did speak some Russian at home, but not 100 percent of the time. (Usually when they were arguing ) But people of that era cherished the thought and prospects of becoming Americans. Sure, they kept part of their heritage, but for the most part tried to fit in with their new home. Most worked hard to make a decent living and teach their children right from wrong.

And while my comments may have the appearance of being directed at one group in particular, they weren't intended to be that way. That group is just the most prevalent right now here in S. Florida. But the crime issues are certainly not exclusive to only one nationality.

But all them northeastern flag wavers have nice landscaping, there Lexus, BMWs and Mercedes look spendid setting among the manicured bushes

I was in the Army at Ft Benning in 64-65 when all the civil unrest was going on---everybody on both sides spoke English--family members mowed their own lawns--there wasn't any Hondas, Toyotas, etc --an ocasional VW bug--
Our military uniforms were made in the USA as were our rifles tanks boats and planes.

    Thumbs down

I like to equate it to A U.S. citizen going illegally into Turkey or Iran. These people would throw us into the clink with out food meals or hope of ever getting out. Add drug dealing and you can watch movies about it!!!! Why are we so lienient? My house keeper was born and raised here. I worked in my grandma's vinyards weeding and picking as a kid. It is hard work! Most people don't want to break their backs for a non living wage. All I am saying is enter legally, apply for a green card. Use a legal SS# and you are welcome to stay. No freebies. Nobody gave my Grand Parents handouts when they legaly immigrated here, nobody should expect them!English is our predominate language. Up until last year, The California DMV had signs in size 50 font in Spanish, and size 12 font in English underneath. There is a fundamental problem with this. My mom got hit head on on the highway by 7 drunken illegal aliens, hailing from Mexico. They totaled her car, and nearly killed her. They all fled the hospital and were never found. She was offered 700.00 for her mint Mustang by the insurance company. Where is the justice in that? A divorce mom with three dependant kids almost killed by illegals who then flee to Mexico when it's convient!

Another thing I found odd. I was in Mexico city and speaking with about 8-10 Mexicans at diner I asked them what was there thoughts on the drugs coming from their country. What they told me was as long as the Americans DEMANDED the drugs there is money to be made and they will make it. They really could not understand Americans fascination/demand with drugs.

Well, I guess you certainly can't blame them for taking their business to where the market is!!!!! Do you suppose the market for marijuana would go away if it were legalized, monitored by the Food and Drug Administration, and TAXED????

I know, I know, it was the same argument we used in the 60's......

We may find out sooner than you think. Last week I heard that in Ca. there were now vending machines that dispense the wacky tabaky. Speaking of Wacky Cali I have seen more of the quality crap coming from the Caucasians and Asians no one wants the dirt coming from the "Mexicans". Or so I here.

But really all jokes aside something is way overdue for people who do not give a crap about are land and are here to steal everything they can! Whats the problem!!!!!! we can put people on the moon but cant secure are borders....
