goodmorning folks .. i`m posting live from my new home .. did`nt realise how much stuff ( junk ) i own .. finding out how much i can do without .. like ten thousand sticky labels with my name and address on them as well as way more kitchen utensills than a single man need .. lots of stuff finding it`s way in the garbage can ..i dont have tv yet .. have`nt called direct tv .. but i dont miss it so much .. have my computor hook up strung thru some trees at the moment .. may have to stay that way .. 22 degres out and `im a comfy 68 inside with very little heating effort .. that`s why i used 2 x 6 construction all thru with 6 inch insulation ..i`m off all this week and it will take about all that to get moved .. i`ve broke down and bought one of those web cures for my infection and it seems to be helping .. that and the fact `im not eating any sugar and have quit the beer in a effort to litterally starve this stuff out of me .. some of my weakness and soreness has subsided and my attitude is getting better .i like opening my bedroom door and stepping straight into my garage ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

not a glowing testimonial here boys and girls .. .. as you know a year or so ago i went in search of a new car .. cash in hand .. went first to my local ford dealor as i`m a true ford blue fan .. they didn`t have anything in my price range ,, hence i went to toyota and snapped up my corolla .. as you know i have hated this car since day one .. it has now been wrecked twice ( hit a deer last week ) .. but is fixed good as new again .. took it to woody ford to swap for an 08 focus .. i kind of like those cars .. would have bought one last year if they were`nt 4 thousand too much .. anywho i take my yota in for evaluation and i have a figure in mind that i would be "willing " to absorb in order to get into a " year " older ford with many thousands more miles on it .. after waiting 45 minutes or so they finally make me their offer .. no less than 4 times what i was willing to give .. they only offered me 7 grand for my 09 yota .. needless to say i couldn`t get off the property quick enuff and will be a cold day in ( you know where ) before i set foot there again ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

Well, from another Blue Oval guy--who's last 2 daily driver's have been Pontiac Bonneville's, I understand the predicament on not getting a new Ford... Made an attempt to get one of the big Ford's before buying the Bonneville. Couldn't make a deal at all... Oh well, the go fast stuff is still Blue Oval, with the exception of the 'maro--and it's for sale,,,,,,Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

my sister has an 08 focus, it's nice and has a good and touchy brake pedal and throttle response. The brakes squeak, though there's nothing wrong with them apparently
ours is a base model. Bought it with 8K miles for $11K.
The only thing i hate is that when you floor it, the engine revs up to 6500-7000 rpm and then it shifts and it sounds like you're going fast, but when you look down at the speedo you realize that you're only going 39 mph, whereas in the stang you'd be way higher than that.
