Nice ride Hoss! What are your plans for the Mustang?

if i cant sell the V8 pinto pretty soon i will just trash it .. cut the front end out and put it under the stang .. may put the windsor engine in the 87 pick up .. have to fix the motor in the stang again .. locked it up doing doughnuts again last weekend .. not starting out to be as good a year as i wanted .. my girlfriend has gone back to her other boyfriend .. my best dog got run over .. i wanted to quit drinking beer this year but that may have to wait .. i need to write some country songs ..i bought that new toyota and dont need it ..just aint been my year yet ..

on a more cheerful note .. warm weather is around the corner .. these will be out and about again i just noticed this thread celebrated its one year anniversary last week .. man .. been a fast year .

Hoot hoot! Happy anniversary. Thoughts for the day, rain dambed if it does, dambed if it doesn't. We need it to avoid a draught, but it always seems to come down on my days off!

if you sneak up real quiet you can catch a glimpse of the famousely shy round bales peacefully grazing in the morning dew .. the slightest noise though will send them scurrying back into the distance woods

mustang graveyard in alabama .. in celebrating the one year anniversary of this thread i didnt realise or simply had forgotten there was an 8 month gap in it .. no wonder the year seemed to go so fast

cant speak much today ... gotta mouth full of new dentures .. was`nt no trouble at all .. dont know why i put it off for so long .. just have to stop bleeding and get used to them ..

i apologise for not posting in so long of time .. i`m not adjusting well to my new teeth .( they`re killing me) `im in a funk for other personal reasons .. ( my girlfriend went back to her old boyfriend ) .. but i was glad to find this car not too long ago .. i remember well the 69 428 cobra jet mustang that was stripped to donate it`s 4 speed trans and 9 inch nodular rear for this car .. way back in the early 70`s .. it was one of the quickest 289 cars in the era ..

finally got up the gumption to take the motor out of the stang .. seems it will be ok with a simple refresh of bearings and rings but also needs a new cam and lifters .. when the cam bolt backed out a few weeks ago i did not catch the fact the cam had walked in the block a good bit and wiped some lobes off it .. no doubt allowing metal into the system that later found its way to a rod bearing and seazed it .. it will polish out though ..

let's play tag...this bird was just playing with this snake...could have flown off at anytime but would just move a few feet and let the snake chase him...very cool..

looks like a king snake .. or some may say black racer .. excellant snakes .. they eat other poisinous snakes .. it bugs the crap out of me to see people just kill all snakes no matter what kind they are ..i dont even kill copperheads less they wont leave my property
