Hoping to get my truck stripped down and painted...you know the saying about the mechanic whose car doesn't run...the painter whose truck can't get painted!!! Got some cool news saturday too. The owner of the vette dragcar I did was in and we were talking about the car he was helping drop off, 68 Chevelle dragcar...anyway, I was saying how I'd love a chance to drive something FAST! He says, "come on out to one of the test and tune nights, pay your $10 and I'll let you run the wagon"! The "wagon" is an early 80's fullsize chevy, with a bigblock, bigtires and full chassis, runs 6.60's in the 1/8th!!! You KNOW I'm all over that!!!! So...I hope to maybe persue some of that action! Hoping the cars continue coming in so we will be busier this year with the new building too. Thats all I got.If its not worth doing right, its not worth doing... Donny, MaxxMuscle Custom Painting

it depends on how stupid gas prices get .. i`m eager to do a lot of cruising and car show hopping this year but not if gas gets to 4 bucks a gallon

We were going to do a lot of cruising this summer to enjoy the cars, but $3.50-$4.00 a gallon at 5 miles per gallon is not conducive to a lot of traveling. Now that I have the trailer finished to pull behind the Willys I will have to put another gas tank in it just to be able to have the quantity necessary to get from station to station. Then I will have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the gas to fill it. I believe it is time to reconsider the viability of a blown big block.
