Beware Of Scam Artists
I Have Been Receiveng Scam E-mails From People Supposedly From Overseas Wanting Me To Give Them My Personal Information To Get Money Or Have Been Told I Have Won Big Money. I Have Been Doing An Investigation Of These And Have Found That They Are Getting My Personal Information From This Web-site. Especially Since I Have Donated Money To This Club. Please Everyone Needs To Be Aware Of This And I Dont Like It All. How Dare Club Hot Rod Let The Information Of Its Members Leak Out To These Scammers. I Have Really Enjoyed The Forums But This Is Turning Me Against Club Hot Rod Very Quickly. Please Use Extreme Caution When Giving Your Information Out, Roy Esslinger

Seriously though the other guys are right. The bots run searches and "mine" the data from the servers and that "mined" data is what is used to create spam. You don't realize it; but, a lot of times your email address will be used by others as well to send stuff. I have seen anonymous email programs that you can plug any legit email address in the world into and send an email "from them" to someone else. It sucks; but, it really isn't CHR's fault.

I kinda lucked out with the place I live in. I have a 2 car garage---with a connecting door to my engineering office--with a connecting door to a 3 peice bathroom. It works out well because many times people bring me prototype machinery they have built, and want engineering drawings made of it. Then I can use all my hotrod related tools, cherry picker hoist, etcetera to dismantle their machinery in the garage, then slip into my office and make engineering drawings. Big advantage here is that I get to write off my garage area and hotrod tool purchases as belonging to my business at tax time!!!--The huge disadvantage is that this garage is under the front bedrooms, so painting and other stinky jobs, and welding, have to be done in the driveway.Old guy hot rodder

Every garage should have a bathroom
every garage should have a bathroom....and every bathroom should have a computer! the bathroom seems to be the only place I get any peace any more, so I sometimes finish up and stay in there, magazines and books litter the floor in both bathrooms (I do sometimes stack them and switch which one is on top, make it look good). My wife tolerates it, but when I suggested installing a tv in the master bathroom toilet closet thingy she said NO.
when I am in the garage and have to go badly I just step into the side yard and aim for the gutter between sidewalk and fence. more than the cleanup involved in going inside it saves me getting my little girl all excited at seeing me and then trying to duck back outside without her getting upset she isn't coming.

I'm still considering selling this place and building the "perfect house"----a one bedroom house with a 5 car shop, included in the shop would be a bathroom, coffee room, and a patio with barbeque grille....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Love this site, great sense of humor; to me this site is all about hot rods, sharing information, knowledge, and having fun. I don’t think the power parkers would get it. You guys have made me laugh too much. Thanks.
If you guys didn’t see this site yet it really ties in with what we love about the 50’s.

That was quite the tribute to the fifties. As I was a sixties child, I grew up on the tail end of this. I loved the old tv shows and songs and hot rods. Thanks, Steve" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
