Nascar
Anybody else catch the race? I just got back in the house to catch the last 30 laps but Kyle Busch one in his Toyota.

Best part was my man Smoke speaking up about the crap tires that Goodyear has been supplying them.... He speaks the truth whether anybody wants to hear it or not.... No wonder I like him!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, Goodyear is out of F1 racing, out of IRL racing, I don't know of anyone running them on dirt tracks.... The race tires are still made here, but the engineers must be on drugs!!!!! As for street tires, many of the import tire companies offer a better tire at a lower price, especially on the higher speed rated tires!!!! Big deal with NASCAR is that Goodyear has a monopoly as a tire supplier, no competition for sales so no real need to worry about product quality. The chassis guys and drivers are getting the new car dialed in, no reason Goodyear can't keep up with the tires!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

As for the Firestones, they have some very good road race tires. Michelin and Pirelli are battling it out in most of the road race venues, but Firestone is making a dent in the market.....
BTW, the comments he made are about race tires, not the stuff we buy at the local tire store.... Huge difference....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I wonder what NASCAR will do to Tony now? I'm sure Brian France and MIke Helton are having a s#!t-fit about now.Somebody said what he thought without their permission.
Go Tony!

Toyotas first and second. That sure made my day . . . . not!
I'm really getting tired about commercial breaks every few minutes. I may have to start watching in a mirror so that they make right turns all day. At least it would be something different.Jack

Hey Dave, one time when I was driving a midget for this cantankerous old fart on this nasty old horse track at some old county fairgrounds I came in throwing a fit about the track,it was terrible dusty and had a hole comin outa 2 so big ya couldn't miss it and it hurt like heck every time ya went thru it. Old Stoogie looked at me and said Boy, That tracks the same for every s.o.b. out there and if you don't wanta drive this sum***** that kid over yonder will.... I ran 3rd in the feature that night..But your right they need fix the monopoly,a little competition would cure the tire problems.
