Unless Davidson pulls that lucky rabit out of the hat, it will be Memphis and The HAWKS. The way both teams are playing. Hawks manhandle Nova. And Steven Curry (
Curry now has 103 points over three games in this tournament, a 34.3 average. Some of the greatest scorers in tournament history – Jerry West (30.6 points per tourney game for his career), Oscar Robertson (32.4) and Bill Bradley (33.7) – are being one-upped by Dell Curry’s skinny kid. )
Todays posting:
West Regional
3 Xavier
1 UCLA
East Regional
3 Louisville
1 UNC

The first half of the game was freakin' magical. If they can do that a couple more times.....they have a chance against North Carolina.
My favorite part was when Joey Dorsey stole the ball and did the solo fast break. Has anybody ever seen a big man (6' 9" 265 lbs) take it end to end and launch from the free throw line?

Thanks. And for the record I'm not a Hawk Fan. But in this case I will be pulling for them.

Memphis, UCLA, NC and Kansas. Wish the matchups were reversed - it would have been really interesting to see Kansas meet NC in the championship game, assuming they both won, with Roy going up against Bill Self, who took the Kansas job when Roy left for home turf.
Agree Memphis is strong - they were on fire.

Just pretend that next Saturday is the final round.

So, Who is picking who for the last two rounds?
I see Memphis getting past UCLA by a point or two, but am concerned about what North Carolina might do to the Tigers.

Both games should be tight well fought affairs and since UCLA has everyone healthy Memphis will be hard pressed to win. Kansas has to stop Hansborough and I think they can do it.Ken Thomas
