after 23 years of owning it and busting every knuckle you have on it. All the blood sweat and tears, not to mention money and time invested. It sounds like you love the car to have held on this long. Sure there are lots of cars to buy, but usually you are buying someone elses headache, thats usually why they are selling it. Buy a good car cover if you have to and hang on as long as you can.
Now go to e-bay and search down all the cars just like yours and watch the auction all the way through. You will sadly see that 98% do not sell at all. And the ones that do have no reserve attached and the owner probably backs out on the sale. I watch at least 10 auctions a week to see the out come. A boat load of people are in the same sittuation as yourself, and the others are looking for a steal. In this case its cheaper to keep her as long as you can, once its gone you cant get it back. Sorry to hear of your sittuation and hope for the best for you.
I about let my car go thats been in the family for 28 years now, and luckily a few great people on this board talked my dumbazz out of it. Its still looking pretty sitting in my garage, Thanks again to those who helped me see the light. there is a light there see it !Last edited by mooneye777; 03-22-2008 at 04:31 AM.
