    Garage Catastrophe

Just talking with Dave S. about getting something done in garage . I get out and clean it and in about 3 weeks or so i'm back to this . House projects and garage work all end up outside the entry door from house . Well since that is about the only floor space left . Small garage 20 X 25 with 26 X 36 amount of stuff jammed in it .

Yup they fill up fast. My dad finally solved most of his space problems by building 2 of them on his pad down in NV. The first one is an oversized garage and I believe the dimensions are something like 30X40. That worked ok for about 5 years.....then he finally stopped screwing around with it all and built one that's 40X100. He finally has enough room for all the goodies (rotissory, lift, english wheel, etc.) and enough projects to keep him busy for the rest of his life........I give it about 10 years and it will be stuffed as well....

I complain about not having enough room, and my wife say's get rid of some of your junk. They don't understand this stuff is priceless that's why we keep it even though we trip over it, and can't find anything.

Yeah, I've just got to quit having so much stuff going at the same time.... When I had the big shop, I'd have 6 or 7 long term projects going at once, and still have room for some in and out deals.... IF I could just convince myself to keep it at only 2 projects in the garage at a time I'd have plenty of room..... The garage isn't the problem, I am!!!!!!!

MUST STACK THINGS HIGHER, I came across this brainstorm a few years back. I sorted all the stuff I hung onto because i might need it later, and decided I would really never use it. Then sold it or trashed it, and the then again maybe stuff got stuck it in the shed or attic.

But all in all its not that bad. You could get a running start and do a dive like through a burning circus hulahoop through the engine crane opening to get into the heart of the garage. Not to mention the physical workout values this would have. Man you now have a garage and a gym rolled all togther, problem solved.

I have it stacked high!!! I had to pack everything in the house that we didn't need untill we move, We Didn't think! it would still be on the market 19 months now! and it's staged to look nice yet! (Can't touch things )
I have repacked it 4 times, once since the pic's, I can get the mustang in at night now. I still have to get the Blazer in there to change the tranny & it's a 4x4 of course. .
If you look between the coupe body & the rocker, I have a path back to my 2 work benchs one on each side, so that I can still work on some things. You can't see the benches, they are behind the coupe and the stack of box's
    The garage is 26'w x 30'd with 10.5' ceiling & 9' high doors.
