    New Gauges

    Just got them installed.
Classic Instrument just came out with a 3 3/8 Diameter speedo with a TACH.
I've wanted to put in a Tach for years but didn't want some piece of junk hanging off the steering column or something mounted on top of the dash.
So, I've waited and then last year they came out with a 5 inch and now the one that will fit my ride.
So, then I sent a sample of the dash paint along with my order and they panted the back green to match the dash and also the clock which was already green.
Everything works really well and on top of that, the new speedo has a built in calibrator which makes the job really easy.

Here's a couple of shots, before and after.....

PS, I know, I know, the dice, right? Well, they add an extra 30 hp so they stay!

They (Classic) sent me their new catalog a couple of months back with the new combo guages in it. Like you I have always wanted to add a tach, but have lacked the space for one other than on the dash in the center of the windshield (wife says absolutely not). Since I already have a set of Classics in my car, I plan on asking them at the Nats East if I can get a unit to match the existing guages. I need one in the Vintage series with a gold bezel and red needles. If the gold bezel will a close match to what I have now I think I well replace my speedo with one.

By the way, love your interior, really is a looker!!

Nice addition-nice car. They are the best IMHO. I'm glad that Classic is finally 'listening to the buyers'. I really wanted to use their gauges on my current build after a good previous experience but they weren't building the smaller speedo and tach's that I wanted 2-3 years ago when I finally bought VDO's. (which I think are a good second choice)
