Finally!
Finally! Danica (Patrick) has put one in the win column by winning at the Twin Ring Motegi course in Japan. Maybe this will give her and the IRL a little boost. I'm sure her team and sponsors are very happy and relieved too. I think she was over due, but at least I was able to live long enough to see it.Bob

I was happy for her also. I have followed her since she started and think she is a great driver. I watched the NASCAR race in Mexico City yesterday and Rusty Wallace said he thinks she is the best woman driver to come along so far and now maybe more of them will get a chance. I hope so.

I see where Mike Wallace's daughter, Chrissy Wallace, will be driving in the 2009 Craftsman Truck Series for Germain Racing. 19 years old, very good driver and a good looking young lady. She drove a Tundra at Martinsville on 3/29 and ended up 18th after starting 35th. She will have a ride in 6 more races this year including the Milwaukee Mile on June 20th.
Makes racing just a little more interesting.Last edited by mopar34; 04-21-2008 at 09:32 AM.
