Exclamation Anyone Here From The Old Car & Enthusiast Site

How many of you here were members of the Car & Enthusiast site that Brent started and then let go away? I enjoyed that site as I got to meet members with every type car and there were Forums for about every car made. I really thought that it could have been one of the better car sites where we could all meet as it wasn't specific to any one type car. And we could joke and not have anyone get all bent out of shape.

Well Ronnie, you can still do some of that here, the thread will just be swimming in a bigger pool. Perhaps you've sparked an idea....................a "General automotive sub-forum" that can be for keeping up with stuff like the R8 thread kicking around. It'll give Severson a place to tell us about his ricer project too.

    Hey Bob,

I miss you guys and the joking around. What is Coyote doing these days? I don't know enough people here to get to involved in much of the discussions so will limit my time to the lounge until I see who is who and what is going on. also my limited knowledge of many of the cars and rods puts me at a disadvantage. However with my age advantage I can help with any history such as how and when the wheel was invented, why we called dirt, dirt instead of something else, & etc.

John is still around, doesn't post much. He's a first class modeler, put up some pictures a while back of some stunning work he'd done. The Anglia is progressing.................hopefully he'll see this and post up.

Hey Ron I just noticed you're from Shasta Lake. I was out visiting my sister in Dobbins, Ca. a couple of yrs ago & had the pleasure of going to Shasta Lake and the Lake Shasta Caverns. Talk about a breath taking view, it was unbelievable. It's something I'll remember forever...joe

    Joe,

I have lived in many places in Calif. and with the exception of Paradise Camp, out of Santa Barbara I like it up here best. I can drive 30 minutes and be in snow or desert or in the National Parks at Lassen and Mt. Shasta. I live 7 miles from Shasta Dam. The caverns are nice and so is Castle Craigs. Glad that you enjoyed your trip up here..

    4speed, Ic2 & Denny,

Nice to see you again so to speak. I hope that all of your projects and everything are going well. I'm not doing to bad. Just seem to get slower or the things I want to get done are getting bigger. At least the weather is nice now. Gads, I am dreading the 118 degree Summer days and they have already started the fire season here and had their first small grass fire.

    Ron
