Happy Mothers Day
Just wanted to wish our Mom members and members wives Happy Mothers Day. We kid about you gals a lot but we really do appreciated all the things you do for us and our families. We would be lost without you, and would probably be wearing striped pants and plaid shirts.
Have a nice day.

Don,
I so agree with you - and since I'm color blind for many color shades, do appreciate that my wife is able to dress me as well as put great (and calorie laden ) meals on the table. Since my mother passed away many years ago, we will be taking my wife's 93 year old mother out for 'brunch'.
((Probably not the time to say it - it does upset me that Mother's Day has become another merchant's "Hallmark Holiday" and that a good deal of the meaning has been lost in crass commercialism. ))Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

and on a different note:
Both of my parents died years ago... But every holiday I'm reminded that I sure do wish I would have taken the time to spend more time with them.... If your Mom is still alive, go do something special with her today...you'll wish you would have later.......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Mother Day
Kids don't appreciate their parents today. I always said take care of mom she took care of you. For me my mom died early age. Along went her home made cooking. Soups from scatch were best. You just remember good times keep moving forward. As for dad he got remaried never seen him again but thats another story. Happy Mothers Day to All Moms

I'm with you Dave! Both my parents are gone, but I still have my in= laws as a substitute and they make very fine ones. Those of you who have mothers, enjoy this day with them as one day you will not be able to.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
