Happy Friday!!!!
It's finally going to be a nice weekend around here, can't hardly believe it!!!!!
Just curious what others have planned for the weekend.... I'm going to be working on the T, hope to get the front fenders hammered out and ready for primer this weekend, and hopefully have enough time left to finish up the radiator shroud and a few other little things...
Whatcha got planned??????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I'm fitting a new Wescott's Trunk lid to my '35-there's also a Swap Meet near to me on Saturday morning-I may get up early and see what's there-Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

Yup TGIF!! 'spose to be 100+ here too. We are headed for the cooler mountains. Our Son-in-Law is entered in an ESPN arm wrestling event up at Lake Tahoe. We are going along to help keep track of the grandkids and cheer him on.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Supposed to be in the 80's here with lots of humidity.
But I work weekends any way, that way every one has
fuel to get to the beaches. Or what ever else the want
to do on the weekeds. Personally, I'd like to hit some swap
meets and a few car shows.

Well, the best laid plans of mice and men.......................
We WERE going to install Don's engine and transmission in his T this weekend, the new tranny and torque converter came today. But they forgot to send back the bellhousing ! I swear, what an inept company. Called them up, they shipped it separately when they realized they had forgotten it, so it won't be here til Monday.
From the appearances of the new transmission they sent a whole new unit and new torque converter. I have to give them credit for doing that. Hope this one holds up longer than 200 miles.
Last night he and I worked on his brakes. The front discs were dragging badly and we found we had installed a 10 pound residual valve in the front instead of a 2 pounder. We removed the guts from the valve and now the wheels spin free. I don't think he will need a valve because his master cylinder isn't lower than the wheel cylinders.
So this weekend I guess I'll maybe work on something of mine.

I've got nothing planned! Still raining today, might be cleared by tomorrow followed by more rain on Sunday. In between car events here, so looks like more car wrenching and garage cleaning. If weather clears on Saturday, I might sneak out to the Preakness, but otherwise not.Bob

Looks like a house/car weekend here in the normally frozen tundra of Upstate NY. Ho-hum day today, might get to 60, then rain, and a mediocre day near 70 Saturday but rain and only in the 50's Sunday. Lots to do Saturday. Mow (hay?) the yard again, bolt some body parts on the project, brake job on the truck, paint the back hall, stain a piece of furniture, move some mulch to the LL's flower beds. Then lunch, and figure out what to do the rest of the day (if I do that before lunch, I'll advise my hospital room )Dave W
